About the Owner

Don Sullivan was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. He graduated from Vancouver Tech and in 1977 he married the love of his life, Gail Sullivan, who has provided him with three lovely daughters.

Don has worked in the automotive industry, including owning and operating Sully's Auto Parts in Vancouver, for more than 40 years.

He has been an active member of the Surrey community since the early 80s. Here are some of Don's personal achievements:

Russ Wait - Service Advisor

Russ has a diverse set of skills which makes him very valuable as a Service Writer. As past owner and tile setter for Limelight Tiling, owner and operator of Limelight Café and owner and Class 1 driver of Rushco Transport, Russ acquired the business knowledge and people skills unique to the Service Writer position.

Russ holds certification in Graphic Arts, Terrazo Tile Setting and through The Automotive Training Centre – Service Writer. He has also achieved Server Writers I & II certification through Automotive Training Institute/ATI.

Russ was born in Burnaby, B.C. He has resided in Surrey since 1990. Russ graduated from Seaquam Secondary, North Delta in 1990.

Russ started rebuilding cars at the age of 15 which grew into a passion for older cars, eventually becoming a lifelong hobby. Russ is an active member of the Canadian Fairlane Falcon Club and the British Columbia Hot Rod Association.

All that Russ does, he does with great joy and always with a smile! In the shop you can often hear him on the phone, "Central Automotive, Russ here!"


Helda Toma - Manager of Last Impressions

Helda started working at Central Automotive in 2016. She loves her work, has fun and can always be seen with a beautiful smile. What she likes best about Central is the caring staff.

She is from Iraq. Her family lived in Syria for a while then immigrated to Canada in 2011. She is also currently student at Regent Christian Academy from which she graduates this year, 2017.

Helda makes sure your vehicle leaves our shop shiny clean with a light detail.


Frank Love - Technician

Frank holds certification in several areas: Licensed Technician, Air Care, Motor Vehicle Inspector and Service Writing.

Frank was born in Scarborough, Ontario. His father worked for the CPR. When Frank was six years old his father was transferred to BC where Frank has continued to reside.Frank is married, has three grown children.

Franks first job started him on a life long journey in the automotive trade. Starting from pumping gas, to working in the shop, acquiring training and certification to owning and operating his own business (Petro Can) Riverdale Service.

Franks community involvement includes 10 years on the board of Surrey Canadian Baseball Association as Coach and Umpire In Chief. Frank also coached at Newton Baseball and acquired Level 2 Umpiring Certification. He also sat as President of the Whalley Soccer Association, winning championships.

He enjoys music of all kinds. He loves his wife's Filipino cooking! He looks forward to one day owning another motorcycle and to do some travelling.

What most people would be surprised to know about Frank is….he use to have long hair!!


Chrystal Stuparyk - Technician/Apprentice

Chrystal discovered a new passion! She made a career change and entered the BCIT Automotive Technician Program. We're very glad she did! Chrystal loves to learn, loves working with her hands, enjoys problem solving, crafts of all kinds, and cooking.

Chrystal's home town is Hay River, NWT. She has resided in Surrey since 2002 a graduate from North Surrey Secondary. She worked as a cashier for four years. She went on to acquire certification in the Culinary Arts through Vancouver Community College. One day her car broke down. She decided to fix it herself. Having grown up with a dad who was a mechanic, it came natural.

Chrystal loves helping people. She enjoys talking with customers about their vehicles to ensure they have a wider understanding of taking good care of their vehicle so it takes good care of them.

Chrystal volunteers for Canadian Cancer Society with Daffodil Days and Relay for life. Something interesting about Chrystal: She makes a mean 3-tier wedding cake!
